For those of you who haven't seen this, this is "screwattack.com"'s 'Death Battle' where they "Examine their weapons, armor and skills to see who would win a death battle."

First off, I loved this fight. I thought it was incredible, and awe-inspiring the entire way through.
Second off, I think Goku was cheated out of his "full power". Give me a chance to explain before you bite at me.
Third off, Superman still should have won. Sorry if I spoiled it, and give me a chance to explain my reasoning before you bite my head off.
For the first point, I loved it. I enjoyed it, it was entertaining. I laughed, I cheered. It was awesome, and the Earth couldn't take it.
Now, the second part, cause I know you're curious. The way I see it, yes, the determined his "Strength" by watching him just before the World Martial Arts Tournament, and while he COULD lift them off the ground, that was mostly due to him using his Ki to fly. He then turned Super Saiyan, and was doing punches like it ain't no thing. I know that sounds like I'm saying they GAVE him strength, but the point I wanted to make was that this is before the entirety of Babidi, Majin Buu, the training he did, pushing to SS3, and so on. Even the battle with Buu itself would enhance his strength, let alone the training he would have done after, in preparation for Buu to be reborn as Uub. And it's not taking into account the entirety of GT as training. Sure, no one liked GT, but if you're going to use SS4, then it's part of it. It also doesn't take into account how much his Speed, and Endurance would have improved, even in base form, from the points they were measured at. Speed was taken at the start of DBZ, not taking into account the improving he would have done on the way to Namek, training to fight Cell in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (which also includes Endurance considering they measured it at the start of the Cell Saga), Training in Otherworld in general, and then fighting Buu, and the GT adventures, which admittedly I stopped watching soon after it started. It just seemed.... stupid to me, but it is an important part of Goku's development, even in child form. I have no problem with the "Gravity Formula" as I find it a very good idea to find his max power. I just think they stopped measuring before his power stopped growing. Thus, he was "Cheated" out of his real full power.
And lastly, the third part, for which I will bring up 6 points.
1. How do you beat Superman?
You stack the odds in your favor in every way imaginable, jump on every opportunity to increase these odds in your favor, and pray to God that it's enough.
2. How does Superman fight?
He lets whatever his opponent has come at him and weathers it. He'll wait out his opponent thinking that if they have nothing left to throw at him, they'll stop fighting, OR if he shows how much stronger than they are he is, he won't have to kill them. If he has to, he has to.
3. How do you beat Goku?
You prove you are stronger than Goku. Cheat if you must, but it's as simple as be stronger than he is. Don't threaten his friends/family/home, and he won't pull out the stops on you.
4. How does Goku fight?
Attack in Base form. If that doesn't work, Kaioken. Then Super Saiyan, SS2, SS3, SS4, pull out a new move or two. Fusion. Essentially pull out bigger and better guns until you blast a hole into your enemy.
5. How does a Superman Big Bad go?
Spend time building up Big Bad. What does he do? Why is he evil? What is he doing to stack the odds in his favor? Come up against Superman. Let Superman show that no matter what you do to stand against him, he can take it all and dish it back.
6. How does a DBZ Big Bad go?
Meet Big Bad. Fight Big Bad. Lose to Big Bad, perhaps eliciting a transformation or two. Traintraintraintraintraintrain, while Big Bad devastates humanity. Fight Big Bad again, at a higher plateau of power, maybe use a new attack, maybe elicit a transformation or two again. Pull a win out of thin air as you pray for SOMETHING. Use Dragon balls to reverse damage. Rinse and repeat.
So, with this in mind, how would Superman Vs Goku go? Goku doesn't fight dirty, he won't press an unfair advantage, and, like in the video, he'd destroy any Kryptonite they came across. In short, he wants a fair fight at their best. Superman is practically invulnerable, and his whole gimmick, is that he is as strong as he needs to be. Rarely will he push himself in a fight, as opposed to just fighting on par with who he's dealing with. So, Goku goes through his list. Base form. Kaioken. Etc. And Superman will match it all because he can. Because that is what he always does. Let his enemy do what they need to to feel justified, and then end it. Even with Goku's stats different from what Wiz and Boomstick projected, Superman is just that kind of guy. Like they said at the end, stats aside, that's just who they are.
I hope I didn't bore you too much. Thanks for reading.
